Online Consultant Certification Program

If an individual is certified through our company, it indicates that they have effectively demonstrated mastery of the core techniques taught in the Consultant Training Course. Certification is not mandatory. However, after two years, Trainees who do not obtain certification will be classified as "inactive" by the Home Office. Inactive Trainees will no longer appear on the online Trainee Registry and will not receive recommendations from the Sisterlocks Home Office.

FOR INITIAL CERTIFICATIONS:  If you do not file your certification application within two years, you will be marked as “INACTIVE.” There is no grace period.  To regain your active status, you must pay the Reactivation Fee and complete one of the recommended classes listed below. Then you will be eligible to register for the Online Consultant Certification Program.

**How Long Does the Process Take?** 

Certification evaluations can take anywhere from two to six months, depending on the completeness of the application packet and how close to the filing deadline the files are submitted. (NOTE: CERTIFICATION APPLICATIONS ARE NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT THE CLIENT'S COMPLETION PAGE). There are two filing periods each year, with deadlines on June 30th and December 31st.

**Status Updates and Notifications** 

When the Sisterlocks Home Office receives a certification file, we log it and place it in the evaluation queue. We then send an email to the Trainee to acknowledge receipt and remind them of the approximate timeline for evaluation.
