R-Certification Course 2020

Get certified to offer Re-tightening Classes to your clients. This class will provide you with the materials, the know-how and the confidence to properly teach your clients how to maintain their own Sisterlocks between appointments, while traveling or on an ongoing basis to control their maintenance costs. OPEN TO CERTIFIED CONSULTANTS IN GOOD STANDING ONLY.


The face-to-face portion of this class runs 2 to 2 1/2 hours long. In addition, there are several steps that must be completed before attending the face-to-face session. Follow the link below for detailed information on all of the necessary steps to be taken prior to attendance:



Eligibility Requirements
“R” Certification
1. Must have been a Certified Sisterlocks Consultant in good standing for at least one year
2. Must uphold the standard approach to offering the Sisterlocks system as a PACKAGEof 3 visits.
       Provide an adequate Consultation using Consultation Portfolio and do several Sample Locks (i.e. 8-12)
       Always provide an official Customer Starter Kit with the Sisterlocks Package
       Schedule locking session (allow for Sample Locks to be analyzed)
       Schedule a follow-up visit at appropriate interval to monitor slippage and determine re-tightening frequency
3. Must be proficient with both the Clip Tool and the Hook Tool (no exceptions)
4. Must follow the parting and sectioning guidelines outlined in chapter 3 of the training workbook
5. Must demonstrate proficiency in analyzing hair types, using Sisterlocks terminology
       Curl Patterns
       Locking Patterns
       Cuticle
       Stiffness/Pliability
6. Must have a customer base of at least 10 clients
7. Will be required to discuss customers with 3 different hair types
8. Must use and promote the Sisterlocks product line
